This is not exactly a “library”, but a great “resource center” that is loaded with brochures of all kinds about Memphis and Shelby County, and even other parts of West Tennessee. Memphis Tourism (formerly Memphis Convention & Tourism Bureau) operates this facility which includes restrooms, vending machines, gift shop, community meeting room, and most importantly, people – counselors trained to provide travelers and visitors with all sorts of information and directions, as well as track down any questions that may arise. Information on restaurants, lodging, attractions, shopping and more is readily available.
